Your customer contact list is the most valuable marketing asset your business owns. Most business owners leave it sitting unused in a spreadsheet. Here is exactly how to activate it today.

Before you worry about templates, timing, or tone, the first step is simply getting your customer numbers into a broadcast tool. For most Indian business owners, this means exporting a list of numbers that currently live in one of three places: a physical register, a Google Sheet or Excel file, or saved directly on a phone.

Step 1: Prepare your contact list. Create a CSV file with at least two columns: Name and Phone Number. Phone numbers should include the country code (+91 for India). If you have purchase history or last visit dates, include those too — they are useful for segmentation later. Remove any duplicates and blank rows.

Step 2: Upload to Liliya. In Liliya's Contacts section, click Import → Upload CSV. The platform validates each number, checks format, and flags any that cannot receive WhatsApp messages. This takes 2–5 minutes depending on list size.
